Socially Active through Social Activity, I have a great job, a great wusband, a great life…these are my stories
Once #NorthWest was born, the world could fully focus on an actual #royalbirth. The world has been watching with baited breath for the birth of the newest addition to the British #RoyalFamily, announced today, a prince is born. Funny thing is there is actually an estimated one baby born every 8 seconds. So, just from them time #Kate went into #royallabor there were 20249 other babies born.
I love #royalwatching as much as the next American girl. I got up at 2am to watch Prince William’s parents get married. I watched the wedding coverage of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (William and Kate) for 15 hours straight. Watching babies is just not as exciting. I can’t be in the room with them, like I was with my sister. So, I can’t really feel as though I am participating. I want to know when it happens, but my life won’t stop while I’m waiting.
Supposedly, the baby was overdue. I say he came at the perfect moment for him. I mean who could blame the baby for not being ready to be born yet? He is the future King of England. That’s an enormous responsibility to be born with. I would take my sweet-ass time too.
Gifts for this #royalbundleofjoy will come from all over the world. I wonder how many sterling silver rattles will be given?
Unless you are on THE list, you will not be receiving a royal birth announcement. I say, buy a gift anyway. Instead of sending it to England, go down to your local hospital and give to a new mother down there. I bet any one of them would be happy to receive a gift fit for a prince. That means, don’t be stingy. Give this gift as though you were giving it to HRH himself. This is in celebration of his birth after-all.
I figure, he’s royal. His stuff is covered. Another baby is probably not as fortunate in this way, he/she could really use it. And with 20249, plus the 150 born since I started writing this, there are plenty of other babies to choose from.
Now, I wonder what the name’s going to be…
